Thrifty Stitches #139

2 earth friendly cross stitch designs in 1! The first is an old rally cry of women from the Great Depression in the 1930’s who knew how to be frugal & thrifty! “Use it Up, Wear it Out, Make it Do, or Do Without!” The second is “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” which is a great reminder for us all to make less waste for our landfills, use it again if possible, and if not – recycle it to reduce the need for new materials.

• Stitch count for “Use it Up” is 62 High by 75 Wide. Will measure approx. 4.50″ tall x 5.50″ wide if stitched on14 count fabric.
• Stitch count for “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” is 56 High by 71 wide. Will measure approx. 4″ tall x 5″ wide if stitched on14 count fabric.
• All stitches are cross stitch.
• Models stitched on14 count “fiddler”/off white Aida cross stitch fabric and stitched in DMC floss: #844 (dark gray). Feel free to substitute colors and fabrics to your taste.
