#362 Quaker Acorn

I’d been thinking about fall (in the heat of summer) and the image of an acorn kept popping into my head. I looked up the meaning of the acorn and discovered that it symbolizes good luck, prosperity, growth and transformation… this inspired my Quaker Acorn design.

• Stitch Count: 112 High & 80 Wide. Will measure approx. 8.25″ tall x 6″ wide if stitched on14 count fabric.
• All stitches are cross stitch.
• Model stitched on 14 count white Aida cross stitch fabric and stitched in DMC floss: #781 (orange) and #838 (dark brown). Feel free to substitute colors and fabrics to your taste.
