Priestess of Avalon #197

While re-reading one of my favorite books, “The Mists of Avalon”, I was inspired to design this cross stitch pattern. Shows a woman with the crescent moon tattooed on her brow as the women do in Avalon when they become a priestess and dedicate themselves and their lives to the Goddess.

• Stitch count is 40 high and 94 wide. Will measure approx. 3″ tall x 6.75″ wide if stitched on14 count fabric.
• All stitches are cross stitch.
• Model stitched on14 count white Aida cross stitch fabric and stitched in DMC floss: . #3799 (dark gray) and #3347 (green). Feel free to substitute colors and fabrics to your taste.
