Thrifty Stitches #139

2 wonderful designs in 1!

Nice reminders to save the earth, AND the money in your pocket as well!

The first is an old rally cry of women from the Great Depression in the 1930’s who knew how to be frugal & thrifty! "Use it Up, Wear it Out, Make it Do, or Do Without! Still a great quote for today!

The second it "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" which is a great reminder for us all to make less wate for our landfills, use it again if possible and if not - recycle it to reduce the need for new materials.

Both are surrounded by borders with tiny leaves.

Stitch count for "Use it Up" is 62 High by 75 Wide.

Stitch count for "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" is 56 High by 71 wide.

Color used for both is DMC #844 (dark gray).  Fabric in the pictured models is 14 count fiddler off white Aida cross stitch fabric.

Feel free to substitute fabric and colors to your taste.

All stitches are cross stitch.
